with Toby Smith and Will Power was a stark contrast to her seemingly soft persona in The Perfect Mate
with Carrie Armstrong. She was able to display her funny side because this brilliant comedy provided the perfect backdrop for her obvious wit. She also appeared in Tales from the Hood, directed by Rusty Cundiff. This body of work featured Clarence Williams III, Joe Torry, David Alan Grier, Roger Guenveur Smith, Art Evans and Rosalind Cash.
